Overview

The Gastrointestinal Microbial Profile (GI-MAP) provides an exploratory overview of the gut environment using advanced molecular techniques. By applying quantitative PCR (qPCR) to a single stool sample, the analysis offers insights into the composition and balance of microorganisms present within the digestive system. This test is designed to give practitioners an overview of patterns related to gastrointestinal health, including microbial balance, digestive function, and general markers that may support discussions around gut-related wellbeing.
