FAQs

Health care is for patients. Everything we do at Nordic Laboratories is done with an aim to help practitioners provide better treatment outcomes. We work closely with scientists and practitioners within and beyond our own clinic to ensure that our tests have the highest scientific validity and clinical relevance possible.

How long does it take to receive a test result?

The average processing time is between 14 and 21 days.

Where is my test result?

If it has been 3 weeks since you sent us your sample, your result is most likely with your practitioner. Contact your practitioner to discuss your result.

If you ordered as a private person, check your SPAM and/or add nordicvms@nordicgroup.eu to your safe contacts, to be notified about your test progress.

Where do I order a test?

If you are a registered practitioner you can order tests through our online patient management website www.nordicvms.com,

If you’d like to order a test as a private person please e-mail info@nordicgroup.eu with a test you are interested in, and your location.

If I have questions about my test results, whom should I ask?

All medical questions and concerns regarding laboratory test results should be directed towards your practitioner. However, our reports often provide an interpretation of results based on clinical studies and experience. These interpretation are to be used as reference, not as medical advice.

Looking for a blood draw/ phlebotomist?

Unfortunately, we are currently not providing blood draw services, nor do we recommend any phlebotomists. If you cannot get help to a blood draw, we might be able to find an alternative test for you, which does not require a blood draw.

It is best to ship your test sample right away after collection. We advise sending the test on Monday, Tuesday and latest Wednesday. You can gain more detailed shipping info here

Why consider a laboratory test?

Laboratory tests offer objective, quantifiable data that can complement a practitioner’s overall understanding of an individual’s health. Instead of relying solely on subjective impressions or external observations, these tests provide measurable insights into internal biological processes and patterns.

Such information can help practitioners explore factors that may influence areas like energy, resilience, hormonal balance, gastrointestinal health, or overall wellbeing. When combined with professional experience and a broader clinical assessment, laboratory findings can enrich discussions around personalised health optimisation.

What tests do you offer?

Our full list of available tests can be found under the “Our Tests” tab at the top of this page. These evaluations provide insights into areas such as:

Genetic profiles related to health, fitness, nutrition, and estrogen-related pathways (via simple buccal swab collection)
Gastrointestinal health, including markers that reflect digestion, microbial balance, and overall gut function
Immune activity, including responses that may be influenced by foods or environmental factors
Immune response patterns related to external biological exposures
Nutritional and metabolic health, such as fatty acid balance, amino acids, and organic acid patterns
Environmental exposure, including indicators of pollutants, metals, and other compounds
Cardiovascular health, including lipid patterns and markers related to metabolic balance
Hormonal health, providing an overview of key hormone patterns in both men and women
Vitamin and micronutrient status, including markers related to vitamins D and fatty acids, as well as minerals.

Why choose Nordic Laboratories?

For nearly three decades, we've offered only the most reliable and clincally relevant tests to practitioners worldwide. As an independent company, we liaise between practitioners and testing laboratories. Our rigorous lab quality assessment helps determine which tests are most scientifically valid. We then offer only these tests, so we can serve practitoners as a single resource between numerous labs.
